PlayStation fans rejoice, we're expecting plenty of amazing savings on accessories thanks to the Black Friday and Cyber Monday weekend. Black Friday falls on 26 November in 2021.
PlayStation 5 has been one of the hottest selling consoles over the past year, with many not getting their hands on one last Christmas and strong sales expected as we hit Black Friday 2021. Last year we saw discounts across a wide range of PS4 accessories and as the PlayStation 5 is compatible with many PS4 add-ons, we're expecting plenty of excitement around PlayStation sales in 2021.
PS Plus is majorly important if you want to play online (and get free games) on both PS4 and PS5 - and previously there have been great Black Friday discounts on 12-month membership, so that's worth checking out whichever console you have.
It's still some time until Black Friday 2021, but we'll be scouring the net looking for the best PlayStation discounts in the US and UK.
What PlayStation discounts are we expecting in the Black Friday sales?
With PlayStation 5 flying off the shelves in 2021, we wouldn't expect too many straight discount deals on PlayStation 5. We suspect many will still be selling the console at full price because the demand for all versions of the PS5 remains strong.Â
There might be bundles that are more appealing, however, with some retailers choosing to put together a package. This can potentially save if you're after the accessories or games in that package, but we suspect for the console itself, you won't save a huge amount in 2021.Â
We suspect the discounts will be focused on accessories instead, both official and third-party, so you're likely to be able to save on headsets and controllers, while games are often widely discounted too - but as we said, there's usually a good deal on PS Plus to be had.
Who will be offering the best PlayStation Black Friday deals, and when?
We're expecting the Black Friday sales to start a couple of weeks before 26 November. While that date at the end of November is the key date for the sales event - followed by Cyber Monday on 29 November - usually it's a window of sales, so we're expecting discounts to start from major retailers around the middle of November.Â

US Black Friday and Cyber Monday PlayStation deals last year
While there are no PS4 console bundle deals around this Black Friday and Cyber Monday, there are plenty of accessories you can treat yourself with. Many also work with the PS5.
