I've been collecting 4K Blu-ray discs for years now, and pretty much everything I buy is in the format if it's available. I value having the best quality that I can get, and that's what a 4K Blu-ray disc offers. The downside to this is that it's the most expensive format on the market by a good margin. DVDs are almost dirt cheap in comparison, but there's a significant drop in visual and audio quality on those discs when compared to the 4K counterparts.
