Before you say anything, yes, I do understand that overtly or not, iPads are engineered as indoor devices. That's obvious before you scrutinize the details. Apple tends not to show the iPad outdoors in its marketing, and the most popular accessories are styluses, folios, and keyboard cases. Heck, one of the selling points of the iPad Air and Pro is the ability to extend your homescreen to an external display, which there isn't much call for on a nature walk.
