Google appears to be full-steam ahead with its Googlebook initiative, which is a new PC platform that combines the best bits of Android and ChromeOS into a single, unified desktop-class computing experience. At a recent media presentation, the tech giant unveiled the official name of the operating system -- Googlebook OS -- while also taking the wraps off of five hardware products running the OS.
