Best Apple AirPods deals for October 2021: AirPods Pro and AirPods Max hit new low prices

Finding a good deal on Apple AirPods is now a bit easier than it used to be, though the appetite for the headphone lineup is still feverish.

The middle child in the AirPods family is arguably the best pick of the lot. They were the first of Apple's in-ears to offer advanced noise-cancelling (ANC), and are finally dipping under the $200 / £200 mark at some retailers after retailing at $249 / £249 since releasing in 2019.

The second-gen AirPods offer very respectable sound quality, hands-free Siri, touch controls and seamless interaction with your iOS devices thanks to the built-in, Apple-designed H1 chip. They don't have the very best sound quality - this is saved for the two other models in the range - but you won't be disappointed.

Apple's around-ear AirPods are the latest instalment to the lineup, launching in 2020, and are comfortably the most expensive. After initially retailing for $549 / £549, the headphones have now come down slightly, with most offering them below the $500 / £500 mark.
