Every time I get a new smartphone, one of the first things I immediately do is apply a screen protector to it. I wouldn't say I'm the clumsiest person in the world, but I do occasionally drop my phone, and with the tremendous luck I have, usually it's in the worst possible spot, like on my driveway or a hardwood floor.
