
Everyone knows that dropping mints into a bottle of soda is the height of don't-try-this-at-home entertainment â" but it turns out there's a way to make this popular home-brewed experiment even more fun.
All you need is a camera capable of filming in extreme slow motion and a robotic arm.
In the video above, Gav from The Slow Mo Guys combines his trusty phantom with a speedy robotic assistant in order to track mints tumbling into colourful fizzy liquid from a variety of different angles.
"It's like I've got a small drone and I'm just flying above this plume of liquid," says Gav, shortly after a shot of the robot-held camera tracking directly above an erupting pink fizz plume. Read more...
