Amazon is upping the Apple ante ahead of Prime Day.
A week after putting the sky blue AirPods Max on sale for $529, the online retailer has marked them and the silver version of the over-ear headphones down to only $519.99 â€" that's just under $30 off Apple's suggested retail price of $549 (and only $1.87 away from the all-time-low price they both briefly hit in late May).

Note that the green and pink ones were also cheaper than their MSRP at the time of writing, but at $540.03 â€" or about $9 off â€" their discount is barely worth it.
