Keeping your messages secret isn't always that easy. You can use encrypted messaging apps such as WhatsApp or Signal, but it's still possible to see all the messages in those conversations on your phone. If someone picks up your unlocked iPhone, for example, they could open WhatsApp and read the messages in any of your conversations.
