We've all been there: you're on the go and, in a pinch, you borrow a friend's USB-C charger, hoping to obtain enough juice to keep your phone alive until you can comfortably give it a proper charge. After connecting the cable to a USB-C port in your friend's car and connecting the other end to your phone, you see that the charge time will take multiple hours. To make matters worse, there's no indication that your phone is receiving the fast charge you're used to. It's a real issue that we often run into with busy, mobile lives. Smartphones have become more of a utility than the luxury device they once were. We need them for everything. Work, scheduling, family contacts, making appointments, managing finances and banking options, and so much more make phones a true necessity, making a low battery the bane of our existence.
