Dads often catch flak for dad jokes and being bad at texting, but father figures have another thing in common besides thinking terrible puns are hilarious: They're some of the most selfless people in the world.
To be honest, a lot of us wouldn't know how to live on our own if it wasn't for those father figures â€" this goes for uncles, step-dads, or anyone else who stepped up to take on that role, too. And though they probably insist that you don't have to get them anything, Father's Day is an extra-special time to show your appreciation.
