While there are a slew of beginner-friendly languages out there, one that generates almost no hype â€" but really deserves more attention â€" is Ruby on Rails.
To be clear, Ruby on Rails isn't a programming language, per se. Rather, it's a web application framework: a collection of shortcuts written in Ruby, which enables users to circumvent learning a bunch of esoteric programming jargon while building web apps super fast.
