Paying for streaming services isn't cheap anymore, so I don't blame people for wanting to save money in any way possible. One way is to grab an indoor antenna, and I did just that a while ago. Although I ended up using it far less than I thought I would, it's easy to see why people gravitate toward them. You can get a lot of stations free of charge, and if you live in a city like I do, you can get them with a fantastic connection. They're mostly nice for local stations, but I found that the lack of a DVR effectively rendered one useless for me.
