The first thing someone usually says when they walk into my apartment at night is: cozy. Especially in the wintertime, I try to embody hygge, the Scandinavian concept of leaning into warm moments with loved ones -- often emphasized by cozy decor, hearty food, and, of course, ambient lighting.
