I've been a lifelong gamer, and one of my biggest regrets has always been missing out on the PlayStation 3 (PS3) era and some of the excellent games associated with it. In 2007, when I faced the choice of which new console to get, the PS3 or Xbox 360, I chose the latter. I'll admit that this was mainly due to Halo 3, but because of that decision, I kept my 360 throughout that entire console generation, and as a result, I missed out on the experience of owning a PS3.
