It feels surreal, but then again, so it did when Bitcoin first hit $10,000 back in 2017 and $20,000 in 2020. The digital currency, often dismissed as a bubble, just keeps coming back.Â
Bitcoin's total market cap â€" the collective value of all the bitcoins in existence â€" is dangerously close to reaching 1 trillion dollars. It currently sits at $936 billion, according to CoinGecko, with the price of 1 bitcoin at $50,281.Â
